Hector Alfonso Hernandez-Maldonado

I answer to Hector, Alfonso, or any nickname you throw my way. Born in Mexico City, I moved with my family to Rochester Hills, Michigan when I was nine. I started at Oakland Community College and later transferred to Columbia College Chicago, where I earned a BFA with a focus on Graphic Design.

Currently, I’m the Marketing Coordinator and Charity Fund Director at Leisure Investment Properties Group (LIPG). I bring creative strategy and a touch of fun to every project—whether that’s crafting marketing campaigns or planning community-centered events.

My interest in photography started when my dad handed me his camera—he wasn't using it much, so I picked it up and ran with it. As I explored different cities across Mexico and the U.S., I naturally began capturing moments that felt meaningful. The feedback I received after sharing those early photos encouraged me to dive deeper into photography.

Combining my design and art background, I strive to create work that’s bold yet simple, emotionally resonant, and always aligned with my vision.
